Message from the SPIDS President

Through her inspiring work and advocacy, Narima Dela Cruz continues to be a driving force for positive change and progress in her community. One of the events organized by Narima is The Surrey Independence Day Society (SPIDS), The event held at the Civic Hotel on June 15, 2024. This event was a celebration of cultural diversity, inclusivity, and community spirit. It's a fun-filled night of music, dance, food, and activities that showcase the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our community. Members and guests came together and commemorated our shared values of unity and empowerment.

The Surrey Independence Day Society (SPIDS), led by Narima Dela Cruz, extended a warm invitation to all. This festive occasion aimed to bring together members, guests, sponsors, and partners to commemorate this special day in a spirit of unity and community. Their presence and support were highly valued as we came together to honor our shared values and celebrate the richness of our cultural heritage.
